Did you know there’s a national day of celebration for just about everything? After overdosing on cute kitty videos on National Cat Day October 29th, our nation ushered in many other “special” days in November, including National Sandwich Day, National Chicken Lady Day (it’s real – look it up), and National Carbonated Beverage with Caffeine Day (my favorite).
Not wanting to be left out of the fun, we declared November 29th National Syncta Day, a day where reps across the U.S. and Canada help spread the word about how Syncta is revolutionizing the backflow industry. To make things interesting, we offered up a $1,000 prize to the team with the most creative execution. And they sure didn’t disappoint!
Reps from all over came up with some clever and fun ways to help promote Syncta in their communities. Below are some of the highlights.
Edwards, Platt & Deely in Metro New York hosted two back-to-back Syncta trainings with a total of almost 70 attendees.
J.B. O’Connor Co., Inc. in Western Pennsylvania held a Syncta training at Top Golf.
Mid-Continent Marketing in Chicago partnered with their local Test Gauge branch so Syncta could be a co-sponsor of a month-long food drive. Syncta is also donating $100 to the food drive.
Palser Enterprises Ltd. in Canada launched a social media campaign using their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, reaching over 1,000 people.
Soderholm & Associates in Wisconsin and Minnesota held two counter days and a Syncta training simultaneously throughout their region.
WMS Sales in Upstate New York promoted National Syncta Day on their Facebook page and held a Syncta training for newly certified backflow testers.
And the Winner is...
Mack McClain & Associates! They crushed it with everyone pitching in, dividing and conquering over their five-state territory.
In two territories (Peoria, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri), the team spent the morning calling on key customers directly, the early afternoon hosting a product show, and the late afternoon into the evening hosting two Happy Hours, training the attendees on Syncta. In addition, in Des Moines Iowa, they presented Syncta at a Backflow Re-certification class. All in all, they presented Syncta to over 100 people in person, and they brought back over 20 qualified leads.
This massive effort was due in large part to the hard work of Cameron Garrett, Jake Franklin, and Keith Whitworth. We’d like to extend a special thanks to their team, and to principals Sean Graham and Jeff Howe for their support and encouragement.
We Love Our Reps
We’re grateful to all our reps for their enthusiastic commitment to our product. Because of their creativity and dedication, National Syncta Day was a huge success! We appreciate everyone’s efforts and look forward to celebrating again next year. Until then, we invite you to join in some upcoming national days, including Answer the Telephone Like Buddy the Elf Day on December 18th, National Serpent Day on February 1st, and of course National Kitchen Klutzes of America Day on June 13th. So get out there and have fun. We can’t wait to see what our reps have in store for us next year!
