Hi There,
My name is Scott Moore and I was recently hired on as part of the Customer Success Team here at Syncta.
I am originally from Miami, Florida and I moved out to Portland, Oregon in 1995 after visiting my relatives here. I found so much beautiful and majestic scenery here in the Northwest, between the beaches, mountains and gorgeous landscape, that I knew this would be my new home for life.
When I was a child, my family owned their own businesses, so I was very fortunate enough that I was able to travel in my parent’s RV every summer, and we traveled all across America. I have traveled to every state in America except Alaska, which I guess is my last frontier here in the U.S. From what I have seen and have been told, I would call Alaska “Oregon on Steroids.”
I met my wife here in Oregon when I first moved here. She was born and raised here, and she is the love of my life. In April of this year, we will have been married for 20 years, which is quite a beautiful experience if you find your best friend and can share you lives together. It has been an amazing experience so far in my life.
I have worked for many high-tech companies here in the Silicon Forest over the years. A lot of companies left during the recession back in 2008, but now Portland’s businesses look like they are succeeding better than ever at this time. And Syncta looks like it is going to be growing like crazy this year too.
My wife and I have also seen this place grow like crazy over the last 20+ years. We both love to travel to tropical beach destinations at least once a year, which is normally around our wedding anniversary. That said, over the years we have traveled to the Caribbean, Mexico, and through Europe. We are both looking forward to going to Greece and Spain someday, which we have not visited yet.
In my spare time when the weather is nice, I like to go to the beach, explore hiking trails and enjoy the nature that surrounds us here in Oregon. In the rainy months, I love to watch movies, hang out with good friends and just enjoy relaxing after a long day at work.
The springtime is honestly my favorite time of year here when everything comes back to life. There are usually lots of festivals celebrating flowers, and my wife and I just love to garden. Each Summer we make our homemade salsa from our garden, which consists of tomatoes, fresh cilantro and jalapeno peppers.
Well, that is just a little bit about my life here. I look forward to working at Syncta and helping our company grow to new heights with our continued excellent Customer Success!
