Hey Everyone!
My name is Jason Perry and I am very excited to be the newest member of the Inside Sales team at Syncta.
I’m originally from Northern California. My family lived all over the San Francisco Bay Area, including three years in Santa Cruz, where I learned to skate board, surf, kayak, fish, and enjoy the beaches. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to be a kid. Once high school started, I was big into sports, playing football, wrestling, and track & field.
Growing up, my parents loved to take my sister and I on road trips in our RV. We would often travel to the Redwoods, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, or down to Pismo Beach in Southern California, where we would go clam digging and ride the sand dunes on ATV’s. We were also big fans of Disneyland, so we would often head down to SoCal to go see Mickey and the gang – a tradition I have kept going with my own kids. In fact, I asked my wife to marry me at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida while we were vacationing in Walt Disney World. You guessed it – I dropped to one knee with a view of the castle in the background. Guess I’m a hopeless romantic. We love the magic and nostalgia of Disney and have been more times than I can count. So if there is anything you ever want to know about traveling to Disney parks, I am your guy.
This April my beautiful wife and I will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary. It has been an amazing adventure being married to your best friend. We were married in Big Sur, California, one of our favorite coastlines to visit.
It was about a year later that I was presented an offer to work for Symantec in their Beaverton, Oregon, Inside Sales division. I have been in high tech sales for over 20 years, spending five years with start-ups in Silicon Valley, and then 15 years working for the Symantec Corporation right here in Beaverton. I have held positions in Inside Sales, Channel Sales, Business Development, and as a Partner Marketing Specialist.
I have spent many Oregon summers rafting the Mckenzie, Rogue, and Deschutes rivers, where my Uncle taught me how to fly fish, tie my own fly’s, and camp under the stars. My wife and I are blessed with two amazing boys – Connor is 17, and Ethan is 10. We all love the outdoors, exploring new places in our RV, going to the beach, Central Oregon, hiking, riding mountain bikes, winter sports, and attending outdoor festivals.
>My new passion is riding Adventure motorcycles with my friends, which is a cross between a dirt and street bike. I am now hooked, it is so exhilarating and fun. We are planning some back road rides into the high desert this summer, to discover remote lakes and rivers to fish and camp. Enjoying a long ride with your buddies through the countryside is really good for the soul.
I couldn’t be more excited to have been offered this opportunity to join the Watts/Syncta family.
